Kitchen Designer # 1031091An award winning, published, professional kitchen and bath designer,
who studied architecture and interior design at Pratt Institute in
Brooklyn, NY. The owner/designer of a kitchen/bath studio, interior
contracting firm and a woodworking business in NYC for over 30 years
with an extensive background in residential interior space planning,
residential construction, Green Design, Designing for, Aging in
Place” and a unique specialty of Designing Kitchens for
people who keep Kosher.
David is pro-active and published in field of Green Design.
An advocate of using sustainable materials, saving energy and
reducing health risks of using conventional products which impact
health and the environment. David is a member of: USGBC, [United
States Green Building Council], FGBC [Florida Green Building
Coalition] and an ASID Industry Partner. David lectures to industry
associates such as architects, interior designers, builders and
kitchen designers
A noted industry professional, David’s work has appeared in; The New
York Times (Home Section), The Los Angeles Times, House Beautiful,
Ladies Home Journal, House and Garden, Kitchen Bath & Business,
Florida Kitchens & Baths, Kosher Gourmet and numerous other design
magazines and trade publications. David is currently collaborating
in a writing a book on Designing for Kosher Living which will be
published in the near future.
Formally a consultant to the: Formica Corporation, Roseline
Cabinets, Whitehall industries, Redbook magazine and the designer
and consultant for the Ladies Home Journal Dream Kitchen Design
Contest to name a few.
With expertise in many areas of kitchen and bath planning, he
lectured at: The Kitchen & Bath Industry Show, The New York Home &
Decorating Show; The Long Island Home & Design Showcase, the
National Remodelers Association's National Convention, National
Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) Chapter meetings, The Luxury
Kitchen and Bath Show 2005 in South Beach, Miele Design Center in
Boca Raton

President of the South Florida Chapter of NKBA, he is a past
President of the American Institute of Kitchen Dealers in NY and The
Metro NY Chapter of the NKBA. David has represented the Metro NY
Chapter of NKBA as the National Chapter Representative and served as
a National Director of NKBA.
